We often pray for the things we want verses the things we need simply because it's easier to receive the things you want rather than the things you need. Example: Lord I want a new car? Knowing you have one already. Lord I need a roof over my head and a job to pay for it. Knowing you don't have either, and you've been praying and waiting. The good news is God will give you what you ask for, and then give you the things you need.
Please pray and be specific. We think we want the things we ask for until we get it. If you have the things you need already, don't be overzealous. If that car your driving is in good condition and you don't have a stable place to live, pray for stability not quantity. God will give you more bills if you ask for them, but he'll also give you the direction to get rid of some bills if you ask him too. The same God that gives you the things you want will be the same God to take away the things you don't need.
We gotta stop being conditional praisers. We must learn to pray Harder when things are going bad in our lives, so the victory dance can be better when things start to go well for us. The bible says" your greater will be later". God is not a right now God. He's an on time God. Things will work in your favor when you believe. Faith without works is dead. If your prayer is about receiving a man or woman, don't just ask for any kind of man or woman. Ask God to send you a specific kind of man or woman. God knows what you need before you say you need it.
If you're asking God for a job, don't ask for any kind of job. We must be specific in our prayers to God. If you're praying for a person, say their names in your prayer. God can do anything but fail. He's a healer, deliverer, and a way maker. We must pray and wait. For, God is not a right now God. He's an on time God.
Amen, Amen, Amen!! This is too true!! He is on time , EVERYTIME!!!!
