The  truth about Love, Spirituality, and Sacrificing.

Very often people mistake Love with lust. Love is patient and love is kind. Love is felt most when it's genuine.  People often affiliate love with outer appearance neglecting the need to seek love from it's inner appearance.  How often do we accuse people of changing once in a relationship?  Many times! Simply because the lust for that person got you into the relationship in the first place. You liked the way they treated you, the things they said to you, and the way they made you feel. So, how does that change once in a relationship?  It changes because it was never who they really were before the relationship,  but you couldn't see that because you were so in Lust.

Love doesn't change, love gets stronger before it gets weaker, love is forever. When people change, the love you have for that person won't.  Lust is what changes they way you feel about the person once they're gone. This is where spirituality comes into play. One must have a spiritual connection to the holy spirit to understand that nothing or nobody is perfect.  One must believe in things they can't see in order to maintain a healthy relationship (faith). Without faith and a vision that is equally shared, the relationship will perish.

The bible talks about being equally yoked.  In other words, one must have the same vision for the relationship.  Things don't have to be done the same way, but it should have the same end result.  In order to accomplish this, one must learn how to sacrifice.  There will come a time where you'll have to give up the "I's" for "us' s", and the "me's" for "we's". It takes two hands to clap. A relationship, friendship, or a marriage will never work until you learn how to love, gain spirituality,  and sacrifice.

  1. Very true my dear Tia. I have learned that when your partner/friend does not respect nor takes the time to understand your spirituality, it can become a hurdle too high to jump over in a relationship. All of a sudden, your conversations become limited and so does your connection. Love you Tia! Keep inspiring. You were born for this. You are making your mom and nana so proud from up above.
